Terms of Service
Last updated: October 18, 2026
These Terms govern Ready for My Interview, a tool for practicing a marriage-based USCIS adjustment-of-status field-office interview. Documents are optional. You accept these Terms through the practice notice before using the service.
1. Who we are and who we are not
Reflog Consulting, LLC ("we") operates Ready for My Interview, a self-help practice tool. We are not a law firm, not an attorney, not a notario or notario público, not an immigration consultant, and not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of USCIS, DHS, or any government agency.
We do not provide legal advice, select or file immigration forms, or predict approval or denial. Questions are for practice. Feedback comes after the Practice Session and may include a letter grade. It is not an assessment of your legal case or chances of approval.
Customer support handles technical and billing questions only, not legal questions.
2. What the service does
| Term | Meaning in these Terms |
|---|---|
| User | An authenticated person using a personal or invited shared Case |
| Case | One couple's preparation record: one Packet, its Dossier, and Practice Sessions |
| Packet | The Documents you upload as evidence |
| Dossier | A summary of your Documents used during practice |
| Practice Session | One run of officer questions and your answers |
| Practice Round | One purchased round, used when you submit the fifth answer in a Practice Session |
Free access: You may create a sign-in and add Documents for free. We read PDFs and images when you build a Dossier after payment.
Paid access: A purchase adds 1, 3, or 10 Practice Rounds and the same number of Dossier builds. Future offers may change without reducing rounds already purchased. A Practice Session can last up to 60 minutes.
Voice: You record answers in the browser. An outside service turns the recording into text and provides the officer's spoken questions. See the Privacy Policy.
Case lifetime: Case data is deleted on automatic expiry or when its creator deletes the Case (see Privacy and Retention). Logging in or opening the dashboard does not extend storage.
Shared Cases: A creator can invite one person through a verified-email link. Both use separate sign-ins and can see all past and future Documents, the Dossier, Practice Sessions, and Grades. Both can manage Documents and build the Dossier. Each person may change or delete only their own Practice Sessions. The accepted invited identity stays fixed for the Case lifetime. Either current member can change both Speaker roles. The roles stay opposite. Changes apply only to new Practice Sessions; past and active sessions keep their recorded Speaker.
Only the creator can buy rounds, delete the whole Case, or remove invited access. The invited person can leave. Departure ends access immediately, including practice in progress, but past contributions remain. A fresh invitation is required to rejoin. A separate personal Case stays separate.
3. Your responsibilities
You must:
- Be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract in your jurisdiction.
- Upload only Documents you have the right to use and that relate to your (or your spouse's) interview preparation.
- Provide accurate sign-in information and keep your credentials secure.
- Not use the service for fraud, abuse, sharing sign-in credentials, automated scraping, or attempts to bypass service limits.
- Not misrepresent us as lawyers, notarios, or government agents.
You are responsible for decisions about what to bring to your real interview and for obtaining advice from a licensed attorney or DOJ-accredited representative when you need legal help.
You keep your rights in the content you provide. You authorize us and the service providers named in the Privacy Policy to store and process that content only to provide the service, subject to that policy's retention and deletion rules.
4. Acceptable use and enforcement
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, misuse purchased access, or create risk to other people or the service. We may limit usage to prevent abuse or decline future purchases after misuse or repeated purchases and refunds. These measures do not cancel the 14-day money-back guarantee for a purchase already made.
5. Fees and payment
Prices are shown at checkout (Stripe). Payment enables Dossier builds and adds Practice Rounds to the purchaser's balance. Government filing fees are separate and not included.
Both people in a shared Case use the creator's rounds. Purchased balances belong to the purchaser, not to the Case. Deleting or expiring a Case does not erase unused rounds; they remain available on the purchaser's new personal Case. Leaving or removal does not move rounds to the invited person. None of these actions automatically issues a refund.
Each purchase has a 14-day full money-back guarantee, even if either person has built a Dossier or used Practice Rounds. Requests are handled by support under the Refund Policy.
6. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
Practice questions use a question bank, your answers, and your Dossier if you have one. Questions and feedback can be incomplete or inaccurate. They do not guarantee a real interview's questions or outcome.
7. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE AND OUR SUPPLIERS ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR IMMIGRATION PROCESS HARM, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD $100, EXCEPT WHERE SUCH LIMITS ARE PROHIBITED BY LAW.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limits; in those jurisdictions our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
8. Disputes and your legal rights
Contact support@readyformyinterview.com about a dispute so we can try to resolve it. These Terms do not require arbitration or waive rights you have under applicable consumer or privacy law.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms. We will post the new date and, for material changes, provide notice in the product or by email where appropriate. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
10. Contact
For support, billing, privacy requests, or notices about these Terms, email support@readyformyinterview.com. Customer support does not provide immigration legal advice.
